Energy Certification in Residential Buildings
Energy certification aims to "tabulate" (from A + to G) every building or fraction and inform the owners, purchasers or tenants of their energy efficiency and energy consumption expected in Its current use by means of an energy certificate.
Energy Certification in Services Buildings
In addition to energy efficiency, it is intended to assure users that the building or fraction meets conditions that guarantee the adequate quality of indoor air. The energy certificate contains this information.
When do I need Energy Certification and an Energy Certificate?
- When you have the approved architecture project and need the thermal design, as well as the respective Regulatory Compliance Statement, which will be issued by ADENE, so that you can complete the process in the City Hall and lift the building permit
- When your work is finished and you need the Certificate of Energy Performance and Indoor Air Quality, which will be issued by ADENE, in order to be able to lift your license to use your property.
- When you want to sell or lease your property, you will need to present the energy certificate to the buyer or lessee.
